Butler County Conversation about Behavioral Health Medicaid Redesign
The Butler County Family & Children First Council will be hosting a second conversation about imminent changes to Behavioral Health Medicaid in Ohio. The session will provide updates to anticipated changes as well a discussion of possible avenues for advocacy. This session will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 1 pm at the Butler County ESC, 400 N. Erie Blvd., Hamilton. RSVP to Heather Wells at wellsh@bcesc.org.

Know Young People with Leadership Potential? Youth Leadership Training June 30, 2016
Ohio Youth Move with train local youth in personal leadership skills as well as team building to support youth voice. Open to any youth age 15 to 25 who has lived experience with foster/adoptive care, children's services, juvenile justice, mental health, or substance abuse systems. Youth Move Flyer

Seeking stories from people with disabilities and their Moms, Dads, Sisters, Brothers, & Grandparents
The Division of Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics (DDBP) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital would like to share your story in a booklet being put together this year. Submissions should be 250 words or less and subjected to editing for final print. Booklets will distributed to local families in our community. All submissions due by 7/11/16. Naloxone Web Resource
The National Institute on Drug Abuse has created a web section dedicated to resources about the opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone. The new web resource includes information about the medication, how, and by whom, it can be given, and where to obtain it.
