22nd Annual Honors Concert, Performance Art and World Party 
 
On April 23rd, Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS), Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and the College of Visual Arts will showcase the artistic talents and skills of more than 450 students in the 22nd annual Honors Concert, Performance Art and Art Exhibition.

Elona Street-Stewart
 

For 12 years, Elona Street-Stewart has served on the Saint Paul Board of Education. Recognized for over 30 years as an advocate for racial equity, affirmative action, women and family values, and public policy, Elona remains active in local early childhood initiatives and American Indian affairs.

 

Elona has experienced life in cities of all types and sizes. She has lived in Philadelphia, California, and Oregon before making the transition to Minnesota. With first-hand experience in both rural and urban communities, Elona still finds the diversity in St. Paul extraordinary. 

 

"We couldn't have designed a way to get the diversity in our schools."
