Parking Lot Update
Duke Energy has run the necessary wires underground so we are ready to move forward with grading and paving. Pepper Contracting Services will be arriving on our campus the week of February 15th to finish the preschool/elementary parking lot, create a new entrance and exit for the middle school/high school portion of our campus and then move to the senior/faculty parking area by the football field. We are grateful that Pepper Contracting Services will be finishing out the remainder of the parking lot project for us. We have been told by our site foreman that the job will be completed much quicker only using one contracting company and not having to wait for various companies to schedule our job.

Pepper Contracting Services, Inc. (Pepper) is a group of career construction professionals who have been an integral part of the heavy highway and site development trade in the Tampa Bay Area for many years.

Soccer
The boys season concluded as we lost to #1 seed St. Pete Catholic 6-0 in the first round of the District Tournament. It was a tough season for the boys who finished with a record of 1-10-1, but they never stopped working. The record doesn't tell the whole story. By the end of the season the boys lost three games in a row 1-0 against some quality opponents. For one of those games we said good-bye to Brandon Thomas, Jeremy Story, and Taylor Clements at Senior Night. We also awarded Caleb Loden, Drew Scott, and Lance Schuerman as Bay Conference All-Stars.

Basketball
The Boys Varsity Basketball team won a very hard fought game against their Bay-Conference opponent Carrollwood Day School by  a score of 64-57. The team was led in scoring by Derrick Wright with 15 points. Demetrius Jackson chipped in 14 points and hit some clutch free throws down the stretch. They will end the regular season TONIGHT at home against Sarasota Christian, it be Senior Night for Beau Langford. The ceremony will begin at 6:50pm and the game will tip off at 7pm.

The Middle School Basketball Boys team was victorious last week against Canterbury. The boys played an excellent game winning 24-18. Top scorer of the game was Skyler Scull with a total of eight points. Cole Rogers scored a total of seven points, Joel Bolds with four points, Alec Johnson with three points, and Andrew Cockman with two. This was our last regular game of the season, and we look forward to an exciting tournament this weekend at Saint Pete Christian. Our first Game of the tournament is Friday at 4 PM. Please come out and support our middle school boys basketball team as we strive for a victory. Worry looks around, fear looks back, Faith looks up!
