Dear NCS School Family:
Thank you for your steady patience and cooperation with the am/pm drop-off and pick-up routines. We've experienced very few issues due to your careful driving and the school's "all hands on deck" mentality since the first day of school. Let me share a brief update with you and encourage your continued giving to complete the Parking Lot Project in a timely fashion.
We have been more than pleased to have good weather and to see the progress made this past week in Phase I of the Parking Lot Project. A crew with Kamminga & Roodvoets, Inc. installed the inlet structures and drainage pipe. This coming week a crew with Dallas1 will be working on the grading and compacting of the sub-base to prepare it for the asphalt base. Exciting!
We have been very blessed to have several contractors who are volunteering their expertise along with resources to move this project forward. Once Phase I is completed, we plan to host a school-wide meeting to introduce you to many of these fine folks and share with you about their contributions.
However, your giving is still needed. Please consider giving a generous gift toward the continuation of this project. If you participated in the "Stakeholder Survey" campaign at the last Annual Dinner, would you consider fulfilling your pledge at this time? Our many thanks to those donors who have already done so.
