COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
Looking for something to do this summer? All high school students are required to earn at least 75 hours of community service as a graduation requirement and summer time is the perfect time to either get started or to continue earning your hours! The guidelines for your service hours, a time sheet, and even a list of opportunities in our community can be found on our school website at the following link: http://www.nck12.com/Page/46
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Community Service Contract and Log Sheet for an updated list of opportunities and their contact information. A special thank you to parent Jalonne Barber for updating this list!
During the year, I also post upcoming activities and opportunities on the guidance page. For example, the Brain Tumor Alliance has its 3rd annual Water Obstacle Event "The Great Brainwash" on Saturday, August 8 at South Straub Park in St. Pete. If you would like to volunteer, go to our school guidance page and download the information sheet and volunteer form.
Spend your summer earning some hours and serving our community at the same time!
