Call to Schedule 707.578.2657

Winter is here and so are the rains! Proper drainage will help divert water runoff away from your property and prevent puddling, flooding, or worse, water damage! Contact Landesign Inc. if you feel your site needs additional drainage, upgrades, or a new design & installation.

Careful Planning and Preparation Will
Ensure a Safer Winter Season

Tips to Prepare for El Nio Weather!
Prepare your house

After years of dry winters, the rain is more than welcome in California. Now we need to take steps to ensure properties are ready for rain as well! Here are some tips to have a safe and cozy winter:
  • Clean rain gutters and drain spouts before and after it rains, and make sure they are not damaged.
  • Check your roof for leaks and damages that could cause you trouble during the rain.
  • Have an expert check your trees. They can assess the health of your trees, and identify weak limbs or diseased plants that could become hazardous in the winter storms.
  • Learn where and how to turn off your sprinkler controller to preserve water this winter.
  • Recycle rainwater by investing in a water barrel or special drain spout that holds water for your garden.
  • Stock up on sandbags to prevent water from running into lower areas in the event of a downpour.
  • Have a disaster supply kit ready in a waterproof bin or bag in case it floods or there is a power outage.
