In this issue, we give a special thanks to our October "Crew of the Month" and Stacy Dedrick for his promotion to Irrigation Manager. We always look for ways to recognize our outstanding team here at Landesign,

NCBE - Careers in Construction

As active members of NCBE, we participated in the Careers in Construction Expo held at Santa Rosa's Veteran's Building on October 16th . Over 1,000 students attended the Expo from Sonoma and Lake Counties. Students had the opportunity to interact with professionals from 24 differen t areas of construction including LED lighting, architecture, heating/air-conditioning, construction, and more. Landesign represented the landscaping trade and shared with students different ways to save water through artificial turf installations and drip irrigation conversions.

Crew of the Month

Our Landscape Maintenance crews are out every day working hard, and at the end of every month and quarter, we like to take the time to recognize them for their outstanding work.

We are proud to acknowledge our employees who exemplify leadership, teamwork, and who work in a safe and efficient manner. At our October safety meeting, Jorge Vasquez, Martin Zurita, and Felix Higino (pictured in order) were recognized as "Crew of the Month". We thank you for your efforts!

Spotlight: Target at Coddingtown

The addition of Target at Coddingtown Mall is exciting for locals as well as the Landesign team. We completed the planting, irrigation, and decomposed granite installation for the new building and parking lot.

The site features a low-water plant palette including grass bioswales in the parking islands as well as alongside the building. Existing oak trees were preserved near the main entrance as well. Conceptual Design and Planning Co. from Los Angeles completed the landscape site design and Codding Construction was the general contractor for the project.
