Let those glorious fall colors serve as a great reminder there are gardening chores that require our consideration. Daylight Saving brings to our attention that it's time to turn off or adjust the timers on our automatic irrigation systems. Be aware that Fall rather than Spring, is the best time to fertilize our lawns.

The thankless task of raking leaves is necessary when the leaves are so thick that they suffocate what's underneath. Yet, leaves can stay between trees and shrubs and on empty planting beds as they serve as a wonderful fertilizer. Clearing leaves from lawns and evergreen ground covers and piling them in an out of the way spot will allow nature to create a wonderful weed-free garden mulch loaded with nutrients.

Contact us to learn more about the Fall Clean Up services we provide and remember to enjoy and give thanks for nature's bounty.
Happy Thanksgiving!

SRJC Internship & Job Fair

The SRJC is truly a community treasure and after a 2-year hiatus, the SRJC Internship & Job Fair was held once again. We are excited to have met and recruited our newest team member, Esmeralda Daniels at this event.  As an administrative assistant, Esmeralda offers support to the HR Coordinator/Bookkeeper and to the Estimator in our construction division as well as handling many other responsibilities.

Esmeralda attended the SRJC for 2 years, graduating from the Puente project and is excited to be in our industry after working in the non-profit and medical arena. We are thrilled to have a fully bilingual member of our staff and welcome the newest addition to our company.

Landesign and NCBE

As proud members of the NCBE we participated in the Careers in Construction Expo held at Santa Rosa Veteran's Building on October 10th.
Approximately 1000 students participated in this hands-on, multi-faceted expo that encourages students to learn about landscape architecture and construction, architecture, LED lighting, heating/air-conditioning and workplace safety through demonstrations and face to face interactions.

NCBE encourages students from Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counties to explore both traditional and innovative areas of the industry. This event is free of charge and more information can be found at
