I began in 2008 when Conservatory Lab Charter School was a very different school from what it is today.  It was much, much smaller, at only one site and the students had a violin class only two times a week for a total of an hour. Now we have 444 students at two different sites where we have 7 orchestras and multiple ensembles as a result of having the El Sistema program where every student has 2 hours of music a day.
 

With Expeditionary Learning, our students from all the grades have worked through and produced over 21 outstanding products in science, language arts and social studies.  
 

I have experienced many magic and unforgettable moments along with the challenges and learning opportunities that these 8 years have brought.

I have loved all the children and have found great satisfaction in working with the families to bring about a profound, significant and enjoyable school life for each.
 

Conservatory Lab Charter School with its children and families will always live in my heart and I have deep gratitude for having been given the opportunity to serve as Head of School.
