Dear Families,
A key ingredient in a successful school is parent engagement. When schools and families work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school, stay in school longer, and like school more.
At Conservatory Lab parent engagement, goes beyond involvement and participation and has an even more significant impact. Our engaged parents do more than participate in school or classroom-related activities, such as attending a parent-teacher conference or asking their child about their day at school. Our engaged parents show strong feelings of pride for the school and serve as the schools' advocates when discussing it with friends and neighbors. In short, our engaged parents have an emotional relationship to this, their child's school.
This high level of parent engagement has been so clearly demonstrated in our parent body over the last few weeks as we strove to make our school's case before the BRA. You have been strong ambassadors of the school, and have gone above and beyond to promote and support the school. This level of engagement is also good for our students.
I am very grateful to you.
Best wishes for a weekend that may be snowy.
 Warm regards,
Diana Lam
