I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the overwhelming response to our call for help and support with the BRA. You are continuously stalwart, courageous and trustworthy. These are the qualities that have helped us to get to where we are. Although there is still a distance to go to achieve our goal for a new home in Roxbury, I know that you will continue to be the amazing force that you are. Today you will receive an email, with an attachment from Gary Gut, the president of our Board and myself with more specifics as to how you can be even more helpful.
Meantime, as we go into this long weekend celebrating Martin Luther King and the incredible contributions that he made to our American society, I want you to know that our teachers are working constantly to have our children understand the times we live in and the history out of which they have grown.
Have a peaceful holiday. Warm regards,
Diana Lam

An important message from the academic dean to middle school families: if you need a recommendation from our teachers for your child's high school application, you absolutely must give our teachers two weeks' notice to write their recommendation! Asking for a recommendation the day before your application is due is NOT enough notice for our teachers to give the necessary time and attention it takes to craft a good recommendation for your child. Thank you!

March (3/2) -- Favorite Book or Movie Character Day
April (4/6) -- Vocabulary Day - dress up as a word
May (5/4) -- Twin Day -- plan a matching outfit with a friend
