Dear Parents,
This has been a most action-packed week for our school. We have had two of our three Winter Concerts, beautifully played by our students K-1 through 4th grade. We are in high anticipation of Winter Concert III on Monday where the 5th through 8th graders will play. There were two other important concerts given this week played by select members of the Dudamel Orchestra, one at the Meet & Greet Event in Roxbury and one at the State House at the invitation of Senator Linda Dorcena-Forry. And, of course the intense academic work continues as the end of this semester draws near.
In addition there was the first of three BRA Public Meetings which are part of the essential process for approval for the school's new building in Roxbury.
There was a huge turnout of parents at the BRA public meeting on Wednesday night and the display of support and solidarity to the school did not go unnoticed!
Enormous thanks to all of you that were able to attend.
We are in an important phase of the project right now. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 14th at 6:00p.m. in the Bolling Municipal Building at 2300 Washington Street in Dudley Square.
The goal is to double the number of parents, friends and staff attending this meeting. Again, please make every effort to attend.
A special note: The December 16th meeting has been cancelled! it will be rescheduled for early January.

There will be a meeting on Saturday, December 12 for Spanish-speaking parents to discuss Spring Fling. The December 12 meeting will be at 3pm and will be held at the Grove Hall branch of the Boston Public Library at 41 Geneva Ave, Dorchester, MA 02121.
