Notes from the Top
Dear Families,
Creativity is a key component of health and happiness and a core skill to practice with students. Creativity is not limited to artistic and musical expression - it is also essential for science, math and even social and emotional intelligence. It is a key to success in nearly everything we do. Creative people are more flexible and better problem solvers, which makes them more able to adapt to change-as well as able to take advantage of new opportunities.
We strive to provide activities, settings and processes to develop creativity in every student in every one of our classrooms. Every day we make room for and encourage students to read for pleasure, to make room for creative activities like rehearsing a play, learning to draw, discovering the math in music and mentoring others to try new things or doing something a new way.
And, the most essential element of creativity is an openness to new experiences and new ideas!
Have a weekend full of creative pursuits.
Kind regards, John Chistolini Interim Head of School
| With appreciation, Nicole Bradeen Principal |

Dear CLCS families,
Please come to a general PAC meeting on Tuesday, November 10th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Brighton campus. We will be providing pizza and childcare. We hope to meet new and returning families! We will be going over the nominations for parents for leadership positions (3 Co-Chairs, 2 Coordinators, Treasurer and Clerk) and hold elections. Please take a look at the nomination information flyer (with descriptions of the positions) that went out on backpacks this week! We will also have our working group on Community-Building, Fundraising, and Advocacy meet and brainstorm ideas for the year.
If you child is at Brighton, and you need childcare from dismissal through the PAC meeting, please let Robyn ( rpretlow@conservatorylab.org) know at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you.
Best,
PAC Leadership Team
