Notes From the Top
Dear Parents,
We are constantly about goal setting, learning objectives, clarity of purpose, all designed to help us achieve success. But, we also need to celebrate every successful step we take along the way to get to know how success feels and how to build a pattern, an expectation of success. Celebrations underscore what it takes to achieve a desired step or goal and motivates us to continue along that path. Success is largely about having a certain state of mind, a success mindset. By celebrating smaller successes, what we are doing is actually starting to communicate that attitude of "I have already succeeded" or I am successful" in our minds.
Our learning expeditions and our music performances are designed to give our students more opportunities for these celebrations.  We should each find opportunities for ourselves that establish that success mindset.
Have a golden weekend.
Kind regards,
John Chistolini
Interim Head of School

With appreciation,
Nicole Bradeen
Principal

Parents, Take Note!
  • Parents Safety Alert!
The Security Department at the Carney Hospital has made an emphatic request that ALL parents follow the plan for pick-up of students.

PLEASE do NOT make a U-turn at the top of the hill or in front of the Ambulance Entrance. This practice is causing a safety hazard. You must go to the top of the hill and follow the road around, then come back down.

Many thanks for your cooperation. It is important to be a good neighbor to Carney!

  • Book Fair Coming Up!

    Dear Conservatory Lab Families,

The Scholastic Book Fair, one of the biggest fundraisers for the school community, is coming up soon, and we need your help! The book fair is a fun way to promote literacy and family involvement is the key!

The Brighton campus fair will run Monday, October 26, through Friday, October 30, at the 320 Washington Street building. The fair is open all day, and we need volunteers to staff the fair, helping students to choose books and ringing up sales. It's a fun way to volunteer at the school and get to know other members of the school community!

Join us for a shift at one of the following times each day the fair is open:
    8:00 am - 11:00
    11:00 a.m. - 2:00pm
    2:00 pm - 4:30pm

If you can only volunteer for part of a shift, that's fine-any help is tremendously appreciated.

    We also need assistance with:
    1. On Saturday, October 24th at 9:00 a.m. book fair set-up assistance
    2. On Friday October 30th at 5:00pm. breaking down the displays and packing everything up for return to Scholastic.
