Dear Parents,
Today marks the end of our fourth week this school year. Our students have settled into their classes, with their teachers and classmates, they now know the routine and understand the expectations. They have begun to build the relationships that will weave the fabric of their experience in this year. Actually that is true for all of us, because it is the relationships we have with those around us that color our days. How do we show our respect for others? Do we look them in the eye as we listen to them? Are we kind in our treatment of them. Do we try to connect by sharing a personal note that demonstrates our understanding of where they might be? The course of friendship is not always smooth. Are we quick to apologize if the need exists? We cannot forget that responsibility is a key building block for a good relationship - responsibility for how we treat people and think of their needs and desires. If we uphold our promises we build trust and trust builds openness and caring.
These are all questions and thoughts that occupy us as we create the environment for our learning and development.
Best Wishes for a sun-filled weekend!
Kind regards, John Chistolini Interim Head of School

| With appreciation, Nicole Bradeen Principal

- Dear Conservatory Lab Parents,
We are excited about a new school year and an energized PAC (Parent Advisory Council)! The mission of the PAC is to support our fellow parents and the school community.
We would like to invite you and your family to our first general PAC meeting and potluck on Friday, October 2nd, 2015, from 6 to 8 pm. The potluck will take place at VietAID, located at 42 Charles Street, Dorchester, MA 02122. It is close to the Fields Corner (Red Line) T-Stop, and there is street parking available.
This is a great time to meet other Conservatory Lab families and find out what the PAC has planned for the year. We need your help to build a great parent community! So bring a dish, and we'll see you on October 2nd.
If you want to find out more PAC news, be sure to sign up on our NEW website for parents: www.conservatorylabpac.ning.com
Thanks, PAC Interim Leadership Team conservatorylabpac@gmail.com
