Working to Protect Your Data
Point2 is changing our data distribution policies to align with what we believe to be the interests of MLSs, Associations, Brokers and Agents in the US, similar to what we introduced in Canada with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
We are now in the process of notifying publishers that they must conform to a set of fair use terms if they want the convenience of broker opt-out data. If they do not conform to the new terms, the data to that publisher will be switched to opt-in.
Additional details about what this means for you and your members will be coming soon. In the meantime, feel free to download a copy of the new data distribution agreement here.

Meet With Us in Orlando!
REALTORS® Conference and Expo 2012, Will You Be There?
It's that time of year again when the US and global real estate industry comes together for the annual REALTORS® Conference and Expo. With Point2 having an office in Saskatoon, SK (average high temperature for November of 29° F) this year's Orlando, FL (average high temperature for November of 78.5° F) event caused a scramble to earn a spot to attend. After a winner takes all arm wrestling tournament we were able to come up with a few lucky Orlando bound Point2ers.
If you are planning to be at the Expo from November 9-12 at the Orange County Convention Center please stop by the Point2 Booth #979 to meet the victors. We have been very busy adding new features and functionality to Point2 Agent. We would love to chat and demonstrate how Point2 Agent can help your members accelerate their businesses into 2013.

Reminder: Switching RETS Vendors?
If you are planning to switch RETS vendors, please try to provide us with at least 2 weeks advance notice. This will allow us time to complete your data migration and ensure a smooth transition with as little downtime as possible.
