The Grand National Roadster Show Charity AuctionThe Lili Claire Foundation

The Lili Claire Foundation Created in 1998 by Leslie and Keith Resnick, The Lili Claire Foundation seeks to assist children and families affected by neurogenetic conditions. The Resnicks established The Lili Claire Foundation in honor of their daughter Lili, who after being diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, passed away at just five months old during an18 hour open-heart surgery.

Today, The Lili Claire Foundation provides a wide-range of services to countless patients affected by developmental disabilities, mental retardation, or neurogenetic conditions, including but not limited to-Autism, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and Fragile X Syndrome.

Many of the support services are provided through the Lili Claire Family Resource Centers, which operate in partnership with the finest university hospitals in the country. The Center's services include diagnostic and genetic clinics, access to doctors and experts familiar with the specific needs and issues of the individual children, and connections to families with relatable experiences.

More and more children are being affected by these conditions, as a recent study indicates, every year 6% of children are born with a neurogenetic condition. With this in mind, the foundation's vision is to have a Lili
Claire Family Resource Center in every state, making it easier for families to access their programs and services. Working together, these Centers would form a network across the United States, allowing specialists to provide a wide range of expertise on all types of neurogenetic conditions.

The Lilie Claire Foundation recognizes that family involvement and understanding is just as important as treatments and service. Studies show the earlier a child receives a diagnosis, behavioral therapies and support, the better chance the child stands for leading a more fully integrated life.

The Lili Claire Foundation also understands that the special needs of the child affects the family as whole. Families are able to participate in sibling and parent workshops, which address the issues they will face, gain a greater understanding of the needs of their child, and plan for the future.

We hope that you will join us in our efforts to provide The Lili Claire Foundation with funding to open more Centers that will help countless children nationwide.
