Guest Speaker Spotlight

Dryden Meints and Gina Dvorak - Marketing Graphics Specialist and Communications Specialist, respectively, for the Omaha Conservatory of Music, Mr. DMeints Meints and Ms. Dvorak spoke to the BFA class about GDvorak audience, managing projects, and tips and tools related to marketing communications.

Madeline Walker -
Prevention and Education Manager at Women's Center for Advancement in Omaha, MWalker Ms. Walker presented on intimate partner violence and sexual violence prevention and education.

Matt Croteau - General Manager of Re-Bath, MCroteau Mr. Croteau gave BFA students information regarding demographics, marketing literature, how to sell yourself to a small business, and developing top-of-mind awareness.

Todd Dawson - President of World Bridge Partners, Mr. Dawson shared approaches students should TDawson take in dealing with employers while seeking their career.

Alonna Griewski - Lead UX Designer for LovelySkin.com, Ms. Griewski AGriewski talked about her design process and job on a daily basis. 

Anne Morgan - Owner of Risney Photo & Design, AMorgan Ms. Morgan gave examples of how photographers and designers work together as well as insight into how to run a photography studio.

Bryan Morhardt - General Manager of Standard Printing, Mr. Morhardt  BMorhardt shared his experience of print and graphic design, as well as hosting a "Family Feud" style game on advertising ethics.

What does the company do?
Since 2001, Ebbeka Design has created visual communications and corporate identity packages for businesses on the local, regional and national levels. With an emphasis in design, the company develops and implements marketing strategies and websites for both business-to-business and direct-to-consumer clientele. 

What does the graduate do? I utilize company standards to create promotional products and materials for each client to integrate into their marketing.

Clients: Nebraska State Historical Society, Food Bank of Lincoln, Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, Rare Earth Salts, and many more.
