CC Students Deliver at Districts!

Four Creative Center students earned themselves a District ADDY this year! The American Advertising Awards (called the ADDYs, locally) is held every year and offers an opportunity for both professionals and students to test their creative mettle against their peers. Winners from the local level are forwarded to the District level and those winners are sent to nationals. This year, the Creative Center won more district ADDYs than any other college in our 4-state district. Congratulations!

Featured Project: Movie Posters
First-year students have the opportunity to work with traditional media for all of the first semester; creating a movie poster is one of these projects. However, second semester, after the introduction of the computer, this project is revisited and expanded upon by using digital type to enhance the existing design and illustration.
Below are samples of movie posters created by CC students:
Elena Paz - graduate of Fremont Senior HS in Fremont, NE
Lexi Kroeger - graduate of Heartland Lutheran HS, Grand Island, NE
Erica Blumeyer - graduate of George-Little Rock Community School, George, IA
