Graduate of the Month KTheobald

Kyle Theobald

BFA '14
Web/Motion/Graphic Designer at Malone & Co. in Omaha, NE

High School:
Millard West HS in Omaha, NE

What does the company do? Malone & Company is a content creation studio that caters to a wide variety of clients using still photography and video storytelling. They produce, create and deliver content for not only the campaign at hand, but any social media channel their clients can imagine while keeping a cohesive style throughout.

What does the graduate do? As a motion designer, I am responsible for adding an animated/graphical touch to the various videos our studio produces. I'm constantly provided opportunities to grow as a web designer while helping manage the site and working on internal projects as well. I've even had the chance to do illustrations for a few of our projects.

Clients: Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, CHI Health, Swanson Russell, Secret Penguin, eCreamery, Omaha Community Playhouse, T. Rowe Price, SilverStone Group, Midwestern University.

Comments: It has been a great few months here at the studio. The studio's size creates a very close and openly creative atmosphere that has had me leaving work feeling fresh and fulfilled. Every day brings new projects and challenges, and I look forward to what the future brings.

From the Director
I hope you enjoying a bit of time off for the holidays, and that you get to spend some quality time with your families. The new year is coming quickly, along with a new semester, new classes, and new challenges! (If we're lucky, maybe it will bring some snow, too.)

If you are considering a career in graphic design and advertising, call us today to set up a time to interview. Fall classes for 2015 start on August 10.
