Open House 3-2014
As a specialized art college, it's great to be able to offer an education that artists crave; the ability to show off our students' award-winning work as well as the design firm next door - that's a bonus. This month we were able to successfully host over 40 families, making our Spring Open House a success!

Graphic Design is about communicating a message. Whether in print or digital format, on paper or on signage, the message must be paramount. While "a picture says a thousand words" eventually designers must use copy to convey the information required. One of the first assignments in second year is a 3-panel, tri-fold brochure for a business in the service industry. The majority of the brochure must be copy (not images) as well as clean and easy to navigate. Above are samples of tri-fold brochures created by CC students. Top to bottom:

Kyle Theobald - graduate of Millard West High School in Omaha, NE

Kristine Osbourne - graduate of Millard West High School in Omaha, NE
Amy Arnold - graduate of North Fort Myers High School in N. Ft. Myers, FL
Larissa Lespreance - graduate of Southeast High School in Lincoln, NE
