Featured Project: Extreme 3-D Words

Extreme Word - Space   Extreme Word - Recycle
Extreme Word - Neon   Extreme Word - Comic

Visual communication is all about being able to impart a message as quickly as possible using pictures. First-year students in Typography class get to try their hand at this skill by visually defining a word; any three-dimensional aspects are a bonus. Pictured above are words created by CC students (top to bottom):

Robert Harding (Space) - graduate of Nebraska City HS, Nebraska City, NE
Carissa Johnson (Recycle) - graduate of  Roosevelt HS, Sioux Falls, SD
Crystal Puhrmann (Neon) - graduate of South O'Brien HS, Paullina, IA
Nicole White (Comic) - graduate of Bryan HS, Omaha, NE
