Red Flags of Sarcoma Dear ,

Breaking News!  The RIS challenge grant, given by two anonymous donors, has now been increased to $5,000!  Help us turn these challenge gifts into $10,000 with your generous donations.  Every dollar you donate will become two dollars to find cures for Sarcoma Cancers.

You can also use the challenge grant to support your favorite RIS named funds. If you are among the first $5,000 in RIS Give to the Max donations you may designate a named fund (or person) in your instructions that fund will be credited with your donation and the challenge amount. You can even schedule your donation now for payment for the 15th by clicking here.

Give to the Max! Double Your Donation!!
This Thursday, Nov 15!

Anonymous donors have now pledged $5,000 to challenge all of us to donate generously on Give to the Max Day.  Together we can double our efforts to cure sarcoma and support sarcoma patients.

If you cannot donate on the 15th, you can donate now and schedule your donation to be paid on the 15th. This way you can be sure that your donation will be matched! .
Your gift will directly benefit our mission to find cures for sarcoma cancers through RIS grants to the U of M for sarcoma research, to support sarcoma patients and loved ones and to educate the public and medical community about sarcoma.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors in 2011 including a special boost from last year's Give to the Max Day, this past February we were able to give $148,000 for research and $6,000 in medical school scholarships. We initiated a Red Flags of Sarcoma Campaign to educate the public and medical personal about sarcoma. We  also sent out 200 free Sarcoma Patient Notebooks, and held several free support activities for patients.

Please give generously so that we can keep the momentum and hope growing for those affected by Sarcoma.

2012 Give to the Max Day Incentives for RIS supporters
In 2012, GiveMN is offering several incentives to encourage your donation to Rein in Sarcoma and other MN charities including:
  • $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 prize grants will be awarded to the top three small nonprofit organizations - with budgets under $750,000, like Rein in Sarcoma, which receive the most dollars on Give to the Max Day.
  • Throughout the 24 hours of the event, an individual donor will be randomly chosen every hour to win a "golden ticket" and have an additional $1,000 given to the Rein in Sarcoma or the charity that received the donor's original donation.
Rein in Sarcoma, together with GiveMN.org - a first-of-its-kind giving website for nonprofits in Minnesota - is working to create a stronger nonprofit community for Minnesota. To learn more about GiveMN.org and Give to the Max,
