As 2012 draws to a close we are taking this moment to thank our clients and colleagues for their continued support of LDS Consulting Group, LLC  in its 12th year of business and for helping us to help others in need.

We are fortunate to be able to continue our tradition of making donations throughout the year to charities and organizations that support affordable housing and community development in lieu of holiday cards and gifts. Some our our donations have gone to Caritas Communities, Citizens Housing and Planning Association, Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership,  Newton Community Development Foundation, The Bridge Fund of Massachusetts, Inc., Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations, the Pan Mass Challenge, The Second Step and Walk for Hunger. 

We are also taking a moment to bring you some exciting news about our foray into Rhode Island:

LDS is pleased to announce that we have just been certified as a DBE/WBE in the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. 

In addition, we are excited to be part of the team that has been awarded the planning and redevelopment contract for the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol Rhode Island.  The team is  headed by Fuss & O'Neill, Inc. Lahaf Geotechnical Consulting, Inc. Birchwood Design, Ellana, Inc., Building Engineering Resources, Inc.  and Odeh Engineers, Inc.

Durkee, Brown, Viveiros & Werenfels Architects and joined by NK Architects, 

We are all looking forward to working closely with the State of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Department of Human Services, the Rhode Island Division of Veterans Affairs and the Veteran's Home Administration to study the 110 acre site in Bristol Rhode Island for the re-use and renovation of the site and buildings to 225 skilled nursing beds, a 75 unit assisted living facility and other uses.
