PIEDMONT FAMILIES
Attention: ALL PIEDMONT FAMILIES & FRIENDS
The 12U Piedmont GOLD Tournament Team (Piedmont Bulls) won it's second game of the Cal Ripken World Series 8-2. With a GREAT crowd on hand, Piedmont defeated the Ohio Valley champions.
Again, great pitching by Piedmont as Brian Gilardi pitched 4 shut out innings and Seth Bialecki closed it down with 2 innings of relief. Different than the first night, the bats came alive and put up 8 runs. Great hits by Jack Hansen, Zach McCloskey, Sean Regan, and Michael Dellose to name a few!

Our Mid-Atlantic team reporter, Noah Landesberg wrote another great game recap here.
Noah continues to "tweet" updates about the Mid-Atlantic Team during the Cal Ripken World Series. He can be followed on Twitter @CRWS_MidAtl
A recap of the days games by Lou Tilly (including footage from our game and interviews by our players and coaches) can be seen here.
Again, there was a great Piedmont crowd at the game and the coaches wanted everyone to know how much the team appreciated the support. For the second game in a row, the players have commented on how exciting it is to play in front of so many people from Piedmont and the Hockessin area. The next game is Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Cal Sr Field and another great crowd would be fantastic.
