The 12U Piedmont GOLD Tournament Team (Piedmont Bulls) will represent the Mid-Atlantic Region in the Cal Ripken World Series at Aberdeen, MD August 9 - 18th. 

 

The Cal Ripken World Series is home to the best 12-year-old baseball players in the world, representing the Cal Ripken Major/70 division of the Babe Ruth League. And it's the culmination of a year-long journey known as the Road to Aberdeen.

Each year, ten teams from across the US join six top teams from around the world in a tournament to crown a single world champion.

  

Piedmont will play in the opening game of the World Series on Friday, August 9th  at 8PM at Cal Sr's Yard. There will be a full day of activities leading up to the game including Skills Competition and Opening Ceremonies. After Piedmont plays against the Harford County Host team, fireworks will conclude the opening day at the Cal Ripken World Series.

 

The accomplishment by these young men and coaches is truly special. Piedmont Baseball & Softball is asking for a great crowd and support throughout the tournament. Having a "home crowd" for the opening game and the rest of "Pool Play" would be a great feeling for these Piedmont players and coaches. Come support Piedmont.  No tickets are needed for until the final three Championship Games and admittance is free of charge.
