Young People Made Their Voices Heard at
WCA's Speak Out for Youth on October 20th

150 youth from all parts of Westchester gathered for our Speak Out for Youth event at Pace University on a beautiful Saturday afternoon last month.  They identified a wide variety of priority issues, such as:

Youth speak out on issues that are important to them.
  • assuring relevant and affordable education for all,
  • combating bullying and negative peer pressure, and
  • connecting youth to community issues.

The young attendees also developed a range of possible solutions to

these and other problems.  A full report is in the works.
