Thank You Businesses - Rebuilding Day 2015

The City of Green recently completed its 2nd annual Rebuilding Together volunteer day. Allen Keith Approximately 40 volunteers from city administration, city council, boards and commissions brought their collective skills to an all-day outdoor makeover for one of Green's elderly residents. While we are grateful for the efforts of our awesome crew, we are also grateful for our local businesses who contributed to making the day such a success. Thank you to Acme Fresh Market and Buehler's Fresh Foods for their contribution of cash, food and an awesome dessert. Another heartfelt thank you goes to Allen Keith Construction who so generously offered the use of their restrooms and their parking lot so that we could stage a lot of heavy duty equipment. We really appreciate our business community partners - we couldn't have done it without you!

If you are a business looking to involve your employees in a volunteer effort, consider doing a Rebuilding Together project of your own. Projects in Green come in all sizes - from the very small to the really big! Contact Sarah Haring, Community Development Administrator at 330-896-6614 or [email protected] for details.
