Charting the Course - September 30 at 8:30 a.m.
 
Mayor Norton will host the next Charting the Course presentation to our business community on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. 

The presentation will focus on workforce training and assistance programs.  Ben Moore, superintendent of the Portage Lakes Career Center will give an update about PLCC's adult training programs, including their recent State of Ohio Straight A Grant grant to replicate the highly successful RAMTEC program at Tri-Rivers Career Center to enhance advanced manufacturing and engineering training. Jason Haas, business services manager with Ohio Means Jobs - Summit County, will also discuss free programs available to business to help recruit top talent.
