CAK's Sustainability Management Plan
If you did not already have enough reasons to love our airport, here's one more.  The FAA has awarded CAK with funds to prepare a Sustainability Management Plan, which will be part of the airport's ongoing Master Plan Update.  A large part of the sustainability planning will be identifying opportunities at the Airport for operational
cost savings; resource conservation and improvements to the social well-being of the community.  Look for more information about the Airport's work over the next several months.

Congrats CAK and thank you for being a leader in sustainability planning in the City of Green.

Sidewalk Snow Removal
Snow Plow The City of Green has made an effort to create a more pedestrian friendly community by requiring sidewalks in new developments or adding them during road reconstruction projects.

As we continue to invest in our infrastructure, sidewalks will help connect our community with our businesses. However, we would like to remind both residents and businesses about their responsibility to maintain sidewalks in front of their homes and businesses, which includes snow removal.  City ordinance requires snow to be removed from sidewalks within 12 hours of a winter storm.
