Summer Farmer's Market Underway in Green
Farmers Market If you or your employees like to shop for local produce and specialty items, stop by and visit the Green Farmer's Market every Tuesday from 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. This year's Farmer's Market is located on Town Park Blvd in the lot between the Central Administration Building and Kid's County.

If you missed it, last week's market featured a visit from the Mobile Sushi Bar truck and Stew Pot Kitchen.  Some other vendors include Ohio Farm Direct offering cheeses and Hazel's Artisan Bakery.  Stop by June 25 and July 2 and see a cooking demo from Earth Fare Market.  Click here for a list of vendors.
2013 Road Construction Season
Construction Barrel The summer construction season is underway in Green.  Beginning June 24, construction crews will begin the resurfacing of E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road (SR 619).  ODOT will be resurfacing the entire stretch of SR 619 in Green. In conjunction with this project, SR 619 will be closed near Spade Road to replace the bridge beginning July 8 for approximately 30 days.

The City will also be resurfacing various parts of Greensburg Road.  We anticipate the resurfacing of Greensburg Road, east of Massillon Road to the eastern corporate limit, to begin in July and be completed by the end of August.  Business located in this area should be aware of the upcoming project and use caution when driving in the area.

For a list and details about this year's projects, please click here.  As construction projects change or emergencies happen, please visit our Website and Facebook pages often for the latest news.
What's Going on in Green?
Are you always asking, "Hey, what's going on over there?" when driving through Green?  Well, you're not the only one.  We get lots of calls and are asked these questions all the time.  So, we have created a page on our Website so you can see the status of some of our larger projects, view renderings and read staff reports which are shared with both the Design Review Board (DRB) and Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC).  We hope both residents and businesses throughout the City find this information helpful.  Click here to review some of our current projects.  If you have questions about these projects or others, please feel free to contact us at 330.896.6614 or via e-mail.
