2013 Road Construction Season
Construction Barrel If you haven't already seen the orange barrels coming out from their winter hibernation, you soon will.  As this year's construction season begins, be prepared to see some orange barrels throughout Green.  While we know delays are no fun, driving on bumpy roads and hitting pot holes is worse.

For a list and details about this year's projects, please click here.  As construction projects change or emergencies happen, please visit our Website and Facebook pages often for the latest news.

FreedomFest

The City of Green Parks & Recreation Division will be hosting our annual FreedomFest on Saturday, June 29, 2013.  Our goal is to provide families a delightful summer 'community fair' atmosphere in the beautiful setting of Boettler Park.  FreedomFest will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 with family-oriented activities.  Musical entertainment by Danny Milan (a Billy Joel tribute band) and 7 Bridges (an Eagles tribute band), with skydivers and fireworks culminating the evening.

Please join us at FreedomFest by providing a hands-on activity or simply advertising your business.  Rental space is $75 for a standard 10 x 10' area (or we can accommodate your needs by informing us of the space needed).  However, you must provide your own set-up (and be self-contained) including a 10 x 10 tent, tables, and chairs.  Set-up can be done on Friday, June 28, 2013 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or Saturday morning, June 29, 2013 before 10:00 a.m.  We would like our vendors to be set-up and ready to accommodate the public by 11:00 a.m.
