Do Reduce Email
Too many new emails make it hard to notice the important ones, & waaay too easy to get distracted by today's "news" from Groupon. Unroll.me solves this by showing you a list of your email subscriptions & letting you choose to keep each coming to your inbox, unsubscribe, or add them to one daily digest.

|
Don't Sort Laundry
Save time by throwing everything into one cold-water load of laundry. It's fine! No separate hampers, no double work, no fights. A few caveats: 1) Have a lot of whites? You might as well do a white load, 2) Wash new, bright items alone once or twice, & 3) If you're nervous, buy Color Catchers or make your own. |

Get a Tiny Travel Toiletry Bin
I pack a lightweight, fold-up bin into my toiletries case, & when I get to my destination I dump everyday supplies (eg, toothbrush, moisturizer) into it so they're easier to access, corral, & transport. Just-in-case items (eg, extra contacts, Band-Aids) stay in the case. Here are some 5" square examples.

Give Your Clutter
Start the school year with a clean slate & more room for the things you really use. Donate unneeded clothes, toys, furniture, & chochkes to St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores, like the friendly shop in our neighborhood. Their mission is to "end poverty through systemic change" & provide human & disaster relief.
