Tips and Tricks to Make Life Easier

make your life a little easier.
Remember: if it takes 2 minutes or less, do it now.

Do Refill
Toss a Ziploc labeled "Refill" into your travel toiletry kit. During your trip or on its last day, toss in any containers that are empty or need to be replenished. When you return home, you'll know exactly what needs some love, instead of having to figure it out (or being caught short during your next vacation).

Don't Be Efficient
I'm often tempted to carry too much (make 1 trip instead of 2) or write an email while waiting for Word to open (why waste 3 seconds?). Then I drop the boxes or get distracted from the Word task; my "efficiency" is proven to be classic "false efficiency." Let's all gauge our true capacity, & act within it for true efficiency.

Get Bath Storage
Need more bathroom storage? Grab a spring-loaded shower curtain rod, a few shower curtain rings, & some baskets. Stick the rod low along the wall beside the tub, attach the baskets with the rings, & load up with bottles, sponges, toys, etc.! Thanks, frugal-freebies.com via goodlifeorganizing.net!

Give a New Start
Imagine starting a household from scratch, under stress, & with no budget. Transitioning families who are in need can go to Ann Arbor's wonderful House by the Side of the Road - a large, neat, & organized shop - for free clothes & household items. Donate new or gently used supplies, your time, or funds.
