Tips and Tricks to Make Life Easier
It's easier to be lazy when you're organized. |

Remember: if it takes 2 minutes or less, do it now.
That is, read this now and then file or delete it. How ironic if it were to become e-clutter! |

Do Reduce
When your email inbox bursts at the seams, sort the messages by sender rather than date; click the "From" column header, or do this for Gmail. You'll see people or companies whose many emails you can delete en masse, or move to your "To Read" folder (& if you never read them, that's ok). Remember to unsubscribe! |

Don't Re-Wash
For the record, I am in favor of washing in general, but some of us are under the impression that one needs to re-wash clothes before donating them. One doesn't. If you pull a laundered shirt out of your closet, register your hatred of the color, & decide that someone else would look much better in it, send it on its way ASAP! |

GET

Get Guiltless & Paperless
Avalanches of kids' artwork are NOT inevitable. Digitally preserve (& then recycle!) them with Artkive. Snap a photo, tag it, & you're done. Give All the Time
If you're lucky enough to receive postcards informing you of upcoming donation pick-ups in your area, make a habit of always taking them up on it. Don't think about it; just call. This will be your trigger to regularly find things to let go of -- your deadline to clear out & move those items to new & more productive lives! |
