All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort-we get a full measure of that, too.

                                    2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (Message)

I love this passage! As some of you know, this last season of my life has been one of the hardest times I have ever faced. The fight has been fierce and I feel like I lost many of the battles I faced. However, the outcome of the war was determined long before I came into the picture! Though we never wait with anticipation for such seasons to come, we have such hope in knowing that WE WIN!!! Not only will we win personally, we will now be provided with tools to help others win too!

I know without a doubt that this experience and the wisdom that I gained during this time is a launching pad for further ministry. There are leaders around the world that are greatly discouraged, exhausted, burned out and feel forsaken. I am called to those people!

Praying for leaders in a village church

Already God has begun to open doors of opportunity to come alongside those that are struggling. Through the use of technology, I can connect with people around the world to provide encouragement through prayer, counsel and friendship. This ministry is definitely a niche that is often overlooked and misunderstood. But since God has chosen me to experience many of the same issues, I am able to relate to the heartaches and pains, as well as the joys and victories.

I am regularly spending time with a variety of leaders in need of encouragement. Some of this time is face to face, some is via internet. Regardless of how, I am so happy to have the opportunity to build the Kingdom of God this way.

I will be returning to India in July for 4-5 weeks of ministry, including a return trip to the red light areas. All of the ministry will be focused on leadership development and personal encouragement. I can honestly say that I am thankful that God chooses our paths. I would not have chosen the path I've been on recently, but I wouldn't change anything now that I see what He is up to! What a blessing it is to be able to encourage others!

Still going for Him,

Stephanie
