Greetings!, After what seems a very long time, we are returning to South Asia! It has been almost two years since our last visit. Every effort to return since that time has been frustrated, but now the tickets are purchased and the plans are being finalized! On October 8th, we will be leaving for a 4 week time of ministry. The first two weeks will be spent with our friends, Prasad and Mary at Luke's Lighthouse for Children. We will be able to see first hand the work that God is doing among these desperately poor "untouchable" children. Without God's people intervening, these children have very little hope of education, living a healthy life, or coming to know Jesus. How blessed they are!

We are excited to be an encouragement to those that labor among "the least of these", as Jesus called the poor and rejected. We know first hand the discouragement and fatigue that can come to those serving on the front lines of missions. Please pray with us that God will encourage the hearts of those that are serving and that our time will be fruitful.
We will also be sharing the good news of Jesus with a recently reached people group in a remote area nearby. Please pray that we will be filled with the power of God to represent Him well.

The last part of our time in South Asia will be spent teaching believers what God's word says about loving their neighbors as themselves. Through one day interactive meetings, known as Love in Action conferences, Christians will uncover their own prejudices and learn what God's word says about loving others.

South Asia truly is ripe unto harvest! We are asking the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers that are full of His love and compassion.
Four weeks is a long trip and we know that we need the Lord to protect us and keep us in order for us to stay healthy, filled, and fine tuned to hear His voice at all times. Your prayers will be a vital part of this occurring.
