Greetings!
Greetings from San Antonio, Texas! We continue to enjoy our time with friends both old and new. God is so faithful to provide just what we need at just the right time. He knew our need for rest, fellowship, encouragement and a time of restoration much more than we did.
At this time, we still don't have the answers to the most commonly asked questions..."What are you going to do now? Where are you going to live? How long are you staying?" But we know that for this time, God has placed us right here. When we need to know something else, He will surely tell us. Finally, we are okay with that.
We are so blessed to have time to spend with friends and family. So often it feels like precious relationships have been placed on hold in order to be obedient to the call of God abroad. Though some may perceive this choice to obey as indifference to those at home, that is far from the truth. So often we have grieved the time lost with those we loved. It is wonderful to get to catch up some.
The Lord is busily restoring us in every area needed. Stephanie's health is slowly improving. This is a big "Thank you, Jesus!" after so many years of fatigue, pain, and other symptoms. Emotionally and spiritually, we are seeing restoration and healing, too.
Thank you for your continued love and support during this sabbatical period. We really didn't know how badly we needed it, but God did. He is faithful to care for His own!
