THE UNTOUCHABLES
THE UNTOUCHABLES
OF INDIA
Greetings!

Our time in Romania is quickly coming to a close. In less than a week we will be leaving Sibiu to make the trip back to Texas. Everything is a whirlwind of activity as we each clean out, sell, or give away everything that will not fit in 3 suitcases. It is a great lesson in what is really valuable, but is a difficult process. Some things aren't so hard, but other things are somehow attached to people and places that we have grown to love. That's when it gets difficult.

And then there are all of the goodbyes that must be said. We know that it is very possible that we will not see some of our friends again until we get to heaven. Makes eternity seem that much sweeter. It seems that the more we travel and build precious friendships in various places around the globe, the more we look forward to the day when there will no longer be goodbyes.

God has been so faithful to help with all of the details of this move. We are thankful for His constant presence. We have seen His activity in the midst of our problems. What a relief to know that we don't have to figure things out on our own.

There is still a lot of unfinished business here, but we have to trust that although we are leaving, God isn't! There are people we have invested in that have not yet understood their need for a Savior. There are precious lives that seem so vulnerable and in need of protection. There are ministries in need of assistance. But God has a plan for each one of us. Only He is able to cause all things to work together for good for all of us that love Him (Romans 8:28). He is the master planner and never overlooks any need!

Please continue to pray for God's divine intervention for the weak, the needy, and the vulnerable of Romania. And pray for those who minister here. It is a very difficult place to stay encouraged. Pray for Mimi as she moves forward in her calling to reach destitute women. And please pray for us as we step out of what is known to us into...well, the unknown. We want to continue to serve God and others with all that is within us. Certainly God will show us the neon flashing arrow that points to the next open door.

We are very excited about the opening of Luke's Lighthouse for Children in South Asia! Five precious children now have the opportunity to be educated, well fed, and learn about the God who loves them and desires to bless them.

We are anxious to visit Luke's Lighthouse as soon as possible, to meet the children and see our friends, Mary and Prasad, the directors of the ministry. As you can imagine, it would be a big transition to add five new children to any family, so please be in prayer for them as everyone adjusts.

The first stop after returning to the US will be getting Stephanie to the doctor on April 8th. Please pray for some answers for health issues that have plagued her since she came to Romania. She is in desperate need of healing and restoration.

What an adventure it has been to live here. We can't wait to see what is next!

Going for Him,

Stephanie and Leslie
