|
The Islamic Shura Council thanks all the Masajid, its leadership and volunteers for serving their respective communities all through the entire month of Ramadan; at the expense of many sleepless nights. We ask God, the Most Merciful, to reward each one of you in abundance with the very best of this world and the eternal Hereafter. We urge the Masajid to organize or host a special event, with lunch or dinner, to honor your volunteers who have contributed at least 9,000 hours of their personal time for public service. (3 hrs p/day x 30 days x 100 Mosques).
The Islamic Shura Council also recognizes the local and visiting Huffaz for leading Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers through out Southern California and all those who had organized more than 50 Qiyams during the month of Ramadan.
