Shura Conference 2014 Promotion Video
The Shura Council is pleased to announce the conference program and the banquet program. We look forward seeing you join the community on Saturday the 1st of March.

The daytime conference sessions will be moderated by Dr. Ahmed Soboh of the Chino Valley Islamic Center and Imam Mustafa Umar of the College of Islamic Studies and the banquet will be hosted by Sr. Edina Lekovic of MPAC

 

Following the banquet, Dr. Tariq Ramadan will autograph his books which can be purchased online before Feb. 25th. We will hold your books at the registration desk for pick up on the day of the event.

The Orange County Register profiles Imam Jamaal Diwan and his typical work day. We encourage you to write a thank you note to the  OC Register's reporter Jim Hinch for lifting up an Imam's life and also remember Imam Jamaal and all Imams and their families in your Duas. 

 

A Shura Council interfaith partner, the Orange County Congregation Community Organization, OCCCO, an affiliate of national PICO network has an opening for a full time Executive Director for their Orange County office.

 

The Chicago Shura Council is looking for a Development Officer. Give it a try if you would like to live in the Windy City.
