The Shura Council is pleased to announce its 2014 conference on the "Quran's Response to Modern Challenges". Prominent scholars from across the country and the Atlantic, including Dr. Tariq Ramadan will examine the modern challenges of our time.

"On behalf of the Islamic Shura Council, I welcome everyone to join me on Saturday, the 1st of March and strive together to face the challenges and find the solutions for our common good," said Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi, the Chairman of the Islamic Shura Council.

Among others, one of the most important and urgent challenge is to retain, revive and restore the family and its central role in sustaining human civilization. The conference shall examine such compelling challenges and offer Quranic responses for the greater good of the society.
