2013 COMMUNITY QUIZ

Quiz

As we come to the end of 2013, we invite you to join us for a stroll down memory lane by taking a short quiz about Muslim life in Southern California this year.

Do you know the answers to the following questions?
  • Which member mosque started the College of Islamic Studies in 2013?
  • Which federal agency did the Shura Council advocate for many years to honor the sanctity of the human body and who later received an award of recognition from the Shura Council in 2013?
  • Which member mosque won the right to rebuild and expand its facility from the U.S Federal Courts in 2013?
If you answer all three questions correctly, you will be entered into a raffle to receive one of Dr. Tariq Ramadan's books. This is our chance to remember our individual struggles and also our collective victories. Each week this month, we will announce one winner and also share the 3 correct answers. So get ready for this first quiz and have fun!  Click here to take the quiz.

(A helpful hint: Answers to questions can be found in the e-Newsletters archive of Shura Council)
