Tiffany Blue
Since the inception of Tiffany & Co. in 1837, "Tiffany Blue" has become an inconic hue; one that is very sought after. In additional to being the box every woman wants to be given, it makes a wonderful shade for furniture.
We created the Tiffany Blue shade by combing three colours of Chalk Paint™ decorative paint by Annie Sloan: Pure White, Florence, and Provence.

 As I mentioned at the beginning of the newsletter..."you should follow us on Facebook," it made me think about social media and technology; the balance of its good and its evil! For example it is GOOD that we can travel the world and share photos instantly for those who have never been. But, it is bad if you are talking to your children or spouse and they never look up from their iPhone! Like so many things, it is all about balance and moderation. As most of you are aware my Nana is 104 years of age this year and we recently moved her into a home. One of the gifts she gave me was a box of her poetry. I hope you enjoy this one.

Spare a thought for the generation
Who thought their knowledge was suffice
When along comes something called "Software"
Internet, data base and mouse (mice?)
They wonder what these strange words mean
And about the three double "U's"
And a dot, and a com, and "surfing" a net
And so much from which to choose
There's something called a "websight"
And they speak of E-Mail and Fax
No wonder we are all confused
When it comes to reckoning our income tax
Our old "Underwoods" still serve us well
And are just like a faithful friend
But alas, with all the new things to learn
Our friendship might have to end.
