Important New Vaccincation Requirements!
Class of 2016! - Beginning with the 2015-2016 school year, new state regulations for the meningitis vaccine requires all students entering 12th grade must show proof of receiving one dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4) on or after their 16th birthday. Please make sure your senior student's vaccines are up to date and submitted to the nurse's office by Monday, August 3, 2015. For further information contact the Health Office, Diane Bower, R.N. dbower@lfschools.net.
The Health Office needs a Medication Authorization Form turned in annually in order to dispense all prescription and NON-prescription drugs. In addition, a Medical Emergency Information Form should be updated with the nurses office if any changes have occurred since the last form was submitted. No medication may be dispensed without authorization and emergencies do occur during school hours. Keeping these forms current will help expedite notification to you and timely appropriate care for your child. The information remains confidential and is only used in an emergency.
Forms for your use will be included in the mailing to the home with the course confirmations in Early March. For further information contact the Health Office, Diane Bower, R.N. dbower@lfschools.net. Should adults be vaccinated for measles? Read More!

A Night at the Races Thank You
Thanks to the generosity of over 250 attendees at a Night at the Races, the Boosters were able to top last year's fund raising campaign! We are poised to continue to support LFHS athletics with grants to assist our student-athletes and teams in participating in athletic camps and high caliber competitions, to fund injury prevention initiatives such as concussion assessments for our kids, and to underwrite the costs of equipment, gear and events for our teams. Over the past few years, each and every LFHS sport has been the recipient of support from the Boosters.

Spring Sport Yard Signs
Yard Sign orders are placed at several intervals during the start of each season. Once a minimum order number is received, the orders are processed for manufacturing. Signs take roughly two weeks for completion and purchasers will be contacted once their sign is completed and received. Each sign comes with a metal mounting stake and mounting hardware for installation and display. Delivery is anticipated in early April. Visit http://lfhsboosters.org/spirit-store/yard-signs/spring-yard-signs/ to see the spring sport yard signs that are available. For questions, please contact Tom Marsh tommarsh2@comcast.net or Ann Marie Smith annmariesmith@me.com.
