 "ACROSS THE UNIVERSE"
LFHS APT TALENT SHOW 2013
Congratulations and thank you to all of the LFHS students involved with "Across the Universe" - the LFHS 2013 APT Talent Show!
Talent Show auditions were held in the Raymond Moore Auditorium, on Sat. and Sun., Feb. 2 - 3. Auditions were adjudicated by an independent panel of 16 judges from the Chicagoland area.
Rehearsals commenced on Monday, Feb. 4 and will continue Mon. - Thurs. from 6:00PM to 9:00PM through the month of February and going in to early March.
Volunteer Sign up, retail purchases such as Donations, t-shirts, DVDs, and performance week meals for "Across the Universe" can be purchased online via lfhstalentshow.com.
AFTER SCHOOL PERFORMANCE:
Wednesday, March 6
After school performance at 4:30PM - RMA
Tickets will be available ONLY at the door starting at 3:15pm on 3/6. These tickets are $5 per seat and seating is open. Tickets are first come, first serve.
EVENING PERFORMANCES:
March 7, 8 & 9:
Thursday-Saturday - Performances at 7:00PM - RMA

A Thank You from the English Department...

Thanks to the generous donation made by the LF-LB LDA, Lake Forest High School's English 1, 2, 3, and 4 classes are the recipients of a brand new media cart, 25 nonfiction books, 25 fiction books, 50 e-books, and 8 Nook e-readers and covers. Our students are very excited to try out the new e-readers and to have immediate access to high interest books right in their own classroom. We are so pleased to partner with the LDA as together we meet the needs of Lake Forest students. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this grant possible for our students.
