Greetings!

A few months ago, Fr. Bob announced that I would be leaving All Saints at some point in the late summer, and that we would start searching for a new Director of Administration.  In some ways, I've been saying goodbye ever since that announcement (and I'm sure some parishioners thought I was already gone at this point) but tomorrow is my last day at All Saints-by-the-Sea, and it truly is time to say 'goodbye.'  For the past two weeks I've been working with our wonderful new Administrator, Kathleen Winters (who brings a wealth of experience and some fresh perspective to the position) and she's more than ready for the task ahead.

I don't have adequate words to express what a wonderful place All Saints has been to work for the last 6+ years.  Through the good times and the tougher patches, what makes All Saints so wonderful is the special magnetism that seems to draw committed, energetic, thoughtful, and fun people to this place to worship as a community.  It has been my pleasure to get to know so many of you; to work alongside you in ministry and help out where I could.  If you would like to keep in touch with my family as we move to New Hampshire, I'd love to hear from you at my personal email address.  All Saints will always have a special place in my heart and in my prayers - thank you all for everything.

God's Peace,

Robbie Boyd

New Rector Search Update

On Saturday, July 26, the Discernment Committee and the Vestry had an all-day meeting at the Old Mission Retreat Center at which the committee presented its finalist candidates to be All Saints' next Rector. The Vestry has a busy August ahead of them as they embark upon the weighty task of discerning God's will among these fine priests.

Refreshment Table Volunteers Needed!

Have you ever noticed how - well, refreshing our coffee hours are? A lovely piece of cake or a couple of donut holes really hit the spot after Church. We need 2-3 individuals or families to take the refreshment table on so that we can keep the refreshment table a consistent part of our Sundays at All Saints.  If you are willing to help, please contact Anne Hopkinson. You're sure to be the toast of coffee hour!

**We're still in need of someone to take this Sunday's refreshment table. Will you help?

This Sunday is Family Feast

Family Feast is this Sunday.  All Saints celebrates this special Eucharist service geared specifically towards children and families on the first Sunday of each month in the Parish Hall concurrent with our 10 a.m. Sunday service. Specially-developed music, service and Eucharist are the highlights of this ever-growing service. If you are a family with children new to All Saints, and you haven't experienced our Family Feast, join us this Sunday!

Next Sunday is All Saints' Night

One one Sunday each month, 20 to 30 homeless families enjoy the All Saints dinner at Transition House emergency shelter.  Our next night to make and serve dinner is this Sunday, July 13. Servers should be at Transition House by 5 p.m.  Call the Church Office if you'd like to purchase food and/or help serve.

Save the Date! Campus Cleanup August 23book
All Saints' Annual Campus Cleanup Day will be Saturday, August 23 this year. The work we accomplish in just a few hours this day is important in keeping our campus one of the most beautiful around.

Some of the major projects we'll tackle
this year are:
      • Painting the Parish House exterior in places it is damaged
      • Painting the school fence
      • Painting/restoring Vesting Room

Many hands make light work. Please volunteer if you can. Contact Nathan Sigler with any questions.
