Greetings!

Welcome to the Bell Tower!  In our ongoing effort to enhance parish communications, we have completely redesigned our weekly parish email to bring you this this new look but with the same content you've come to expect each week.  It will still be sent each Wednesday to keep you up to date on parish happenings.
Please let us know what you think!

Special Edition: Holy Week Recap
Easter Sunday was a glorious day in the parish with more than 750 in attendance for the 8 and 10 a.m. services plus a terrifically cute Easter egg hunt and our first ever Easter Brunch on campus.  Whew!

We have many more photos, videos, and audio recordings of this, the most important week in the life of the church, on the All Saints website, so be sure to click those links below.

Easter Sunday Featured Glorious Music, Moving Sermon, Great Attendance.
"The Lord Is Risen, Indeed."
All Saints was clearly the place to be on Easter Sunday morning with hundreds of parishioners, visitors, friends and family joining together to celebrate the risen Lord.  The Good News of Jesus Christ was abundant in large and small ways throughout the entire campus.

From the music to the Baptism of the newest member of the Miller family, Elenora, (shown above) to Father Bob's sermon and Rev. Michelle's celebration, to the Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Brunch, there was so much for so many.

We've prepared a recap of the day, complete with articles, photos and video of the happenings.  Note that you'll find extra content on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, too!

Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday: Following in Jesus' Path
Maundy Thursday, the commemoration of the Last Supper, included our own
supper with stimulating dialog around the altar.  Following the service, we went to a specially-prepared garden in the Sanctuary for prayer and contemplation.  A truly moving evening that you can read about and view photos of by clicking on the link below.

Good Friday, the day we recall Jesus' death on the cross, included our traditional noon service with the performance of the Akathist (learn more about this moving service by clicking below) and then an evening Tenebrae service that was somewhat newer to All Saints.  "Tenebrae" is Latin for "darkness" and this service uses light and shade in a compelling way.

Holy Saturday is the day Christ's body lay in the tomb before the resurrection.
We observed a day of somber reflection as we contemplated the world of darkness that would exist without the hope of Christ's resurrection.  As Father Bob said, "It wasn't supposed to end this way."  Check out all the day's happenings - both for the Children's Vigil led by Rev. Vicki and then the Great Vigil of Easter that night - by clicking below.

Palm Sunday: Jesus Is Celebrated As He Makes His Way To Jerusalem
Palm Sunday this year began on the lawn in front of the Office and saw the children of the parish help distribute palms that commemorate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in all four Gospels.

We walked to the Sanctuary and began to hear the story of salvation, redemption, forgiveness and love.  In the Passion story, so eloquently read by parishioners Bitsy and Denny Bacon, Nathan Sigler, Marni McGee, Temmo Korishelli, and Robert Brown, you can can experience the sense of hope, the anguish, the anticipation and so much more.
