The All Saints Outreach Committee is working hard to serve God and help those in need, especially in our own local community. We will be meeting in a retreat next Saturday, April 5, to plan our goals for the next two to three years.
| Sally Messerlian and I at the last Cleveland School work day. |
We are excited about our progress being made to build a school in Labiche, Haiti as our International Focus Project (click here to read more about this project and see progress photos on our website.) In our continued effort to help the underprivileged in Santa Barbara, we have adopted Cleveland Elementary School as our Local Focus Project. You'll be hearing more from us.
We extend to the entire parish our thanks for all the support you give when asked. Please keep your ideas coming!
Susan Evans
Chair, Outreach Committee
PS: Thank you to all who worked at Saturday's Habitat for Humanity work day. From birdhouses to new bedrooms, we made a difference! Check out photos here.

| 2013 Full Annual Report Released!
|
For this year's Annual Report, we set a challenge for ourselves to produce the most inclusive report we've ever produced, seeking input from every group, committee, guild and ministry that exists in All Saints today. We did this with the knowledge that this report would likely be viewed by our next Rector as they enter into the Discernment process, and it would help them to know as much about us as possible. At our Annual Meeting on February 23 we launched our Summary Annual Report for 2013, which included quotes and summaries from all these groups and a promise that the full version was on its way. Today you can read the full version of our 2013 Annual Report by visiting our website, where you can also read reports from years past.

11:30 a.m. Thursday April 10
|
In recognition of All Saints' continuing outreach to low-income families living at the Carpinteria Camper Park over the years, Father Bob has been invited by Peoples' Self-Help Housing to offer a blessing at the start of construction for 43 new affordable apartment town homes that will rise on the former Camper Park site.
All Saints has supported the work of PSHH with both Outreach funds and the hands-on effort of many parishioners to deliver snacks for children in the after-school programs, rehab of the community bathrooms (with M4), prepare camper trailers to be moved, purchase and donate furniture to help Camper Park families move to apartments, and provide assistance on field trips for children in the summer programs. Parishioners are invited to help celebrate this event at the construction site, 4096 Via Real from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 10. A light lunch will follow the program and tours will be offered.

| Outreach Golf Tournament Needs you! |
Monday May 5
The Annual Jim Bower Community Outreach Golf Tournament needs donations to match our generous $12,500 grant from the Bower Foundation. This exceptional grant means that your donation dollars go twice as far. Both small and large donations are needed in order for us to meet our goal. Of course we also need players: single, double, threesomes, and foursomes are all invited and if you don't play, we still need volunteers for the day of the tournament (no knowledge of golf is necessary.)
Parishioners, family and friends of players can join us for the celebration at La Cumbre Club House after the tournament for $20. Please click here for more information on the tournament or contact Mary Rosenberger to sign up to play.
