Have You Heard??
hunter hayes

The Gettysburg Festival is excited to have the Country Music Association's reigning "New Artist of theYear," Hunter Hayes, as the highlight of its 2013 event.  Performing Friday, June 14th at Gettysburg College's Memorial Field, tickets are $30 and $25 for general admission seating, and will go on sale at 10:00am April 13th.  Tickets for this premiere event can be purchased online at the Festival website.

A multi-talented songwriter, musician, producer, and performer, Hayes is a three-time GRAMMY nominee and was nominated for six 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards, including Songwriter and Producer of the Year for his certified double platinum single, "Wanted." With the experience of sharing the stage with the likes of Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley, and a sold out headlining tour of his own under his belt, Hayes is sure to bring a phenomenal show to the Gettysburg audience that will entertain young and old alike.

"The Gettysburg Festival featuring a young, emerging talent like Hunter Hayes-- who has been on a meteoric rise since he first stormed onto the music scene-- is the perfect opportunity for the festival to make good on its pledge to offer high quality, yet extremely affordable entertainment the entire family can enjoy," explains Randy Prasse, executive director for the Festival. "Hunter is a dynamo-- in the studio and on-stage. He wrote or co-wrote and played every one of the 30 instruments on every song on his self-titled debut album, and he co-produced it as well. This is an amazing talent who will only get better in the future. This is why Hunter was recognized by the Country Music Association (CMA) as the Best New Artist of 2012."

Again, tickets go on sale THIS SATURDAY (April 13th). Be sure to get them early...They'll go quickly!
